A Forgotten Cemetery In Downtown Toledo?
Here’s a hot tip, maybe.
I’ve been doing some research on the history of the Toledo cemetery system. (Of course, I’m single. Why do you ask?) And I came across a little nugget that immediately went into my “I Did Not Know That” stack of notes.
It seems that a small cemetery once existed on the corner of Madison and 17th from 1830 to 1840. Obviously, it ain’t there now. In fact, not much of anything is there now.
And, I know. Just because a cemetery used to be there doesn’t mean that intersection is haunted or anything. It’s just an interesting factoid I thought I’d share with all of you ghost junkies.
